now accepting scholarship applications for our 2023-2024 performance season
the orchestra has established a scholarship program that will enable young musicians ages 15-22 to receive a scholarship. the value of each scholarship (maximum of $700/year) will be determined by accumulated rehearsal/concert participation with the Saint charles county symphony orchestra. that value would be available to the participant to advance musical studies after the conclusion of the musical season or completion of high school for use in college.
eligibility for participation in this program will be:
instRUment = violin, viola, cello, string bass, oboe, percussion
attend 70% of preparatory rehearsals and 70% of concerts presented by the orchestra

the scholarship program has been approved by mshsaa and the player will maintain eligibility for all academic activities.
